Now that the weather is so cold (at leat here in the Netherlands it has been), nothing is better than putting a casserole in the oven for dinner. Warm comfort food, isn’t that what you feel like eating on days like these?
I love that casseroles are so easy to prepare. You can easily prep a casserole during the day or on the evening before. By the time that you want to eat your low FODMAP casserole, you just have to pop it in the oven and you will have a delicious meal on the table in no time.
When I don’t prepare my casserole beforehand, I love that I can clean up the kitchen while the casserole is in the oven. Everything is clean and the dishes will be done by the time we start eating. Whether you prepare your casserole beforehand or make it on the evening itself, it is such a handy meal!
