Low FODMAP maple mustard glazed ham
Would you like to put a festive main course on the table at Christmas without it taking too much time? Then I have the recipe for you. This low FODMAP maple mustard glazed ham.
You really only need three ingredients to put a delicious main course on the table. Namely:
- A natural ham
- Low FODMAP mustard
- Maple syrup
This is a variation on ham with honey-mustard sauce. Because honey is high in FODMAPs, I use maple syrup instead of honey in this recipe. That is low FODMAP.
Are you no longer in the elimination phase of the diet and do you know that you tolerate honey well? Then you can also use honey instead of maple syrup.
In addition to the maple syrup, I chose a tasty coarse mustard. But you can pick any mustard you like.
All you need to do to make this dish is brush the ham with the maple-mustard mixture. Leave this to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours and then place the ham in the oven for 45 minutes.
The preparation will take you 10 minutes and then you just have to be patient. Enjoy your meal!
