I use affiliate links on Karlijn’s Kitchen. You see them in some of my blog posts. I find it important to be open and transparant about this, so that you understand how affiliate link work and why I am using them.
An affiliate link is a link that refers to a product on another website. If you click on an affiliate link on my website, go to the other website and make a purchase there, I receive a small commission. You won’t notice any difference because you will still pay the same price for product. But you help me a little bit a the same time.
I use affiliate links only for products that I use myself and that I think can add value for you. Karlijn’s Kitchen is has grown from hobby into something that I spend a lot of time on in my evenings and weekends. I work on Karlijn’s Kitchen next to my day job and that means that I have to squeeze in time wherever I can to create content for the blog. Working on my blog gives me a lot of fulfillment, but it is also nice to be able to get a small financial compensation for it. Affiliate links are one way to do that.
