Description
Homemade low FODMAP creamed spinach made with lactose-free white sauce and cream. Low lactose and vegetarian.
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp gluten-free flour (I use Schär Mix It Universal)
- 200 ml (6.8 fl. oz.) lactose-free whole milk
- 400 g (14.1 oz) fresh spinach
- 100 ml (3.4 oz) lactose-free cream
- Pepper and salt to taste
- 2 stalks of spring onion, the green part, in rings
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large frying pan.
- When the butter has melted, add the flour. Cook for 2 minutes while stirring regularly.
- Then add 200 ml of lactose-free whole milk. Stir continuously with a wish and cook for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Add the spinach little by little and cook until it wilts. Repeat until you’ve used all the spinach.
- Add the cream and let it heat up.
- Season with salt and pepper and add spring onion rings.
- Let this cook for a while.
- Serve immediately.
