Description
Simple Dutch vanilla custard (vla) with only 4 ingredients. Ready in 10 minutes and then you only need to let it cool down. Lactose-free and low FODMAP.

- 1 liter lactose-free milk
- 50 g custard powder
- 50 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
Instructions
- Put the custard powder together with the sugar in a bowl. Add a few tablespoons of the milk and stir everything together until it forms a smooth thick mixture.
- Put the rest of the milk in a pan. Scrape the vanilla from the vanilla pod into the pan. Stir together and bring the milk to
boil . - Add the custard mixture to the milk while stirring continuously and continue to stir until the milk starts to boil again. The mixture will thicken quickly until it gets a custard-like substance.
- Turn off the heat and leave the vanilla custard to cool down. Stir the through the custard now and then while it is cooling down.
- Put the Dutch vanilla custard in the fridge until you serve it.
