Description
This low FODMAP tiramisu was requested a lot! A favourite dessert of many people. This version is gluten-free and lactose-free.
Ingredients

- 125 ml lactose-free whipping cream
- 75 g white sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 500 g lactose-free mascarpone
- Optional: 5 tbsp coffee liqueur
- 200 ml espresso
- 150 g gluten-free ladyfingers
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- An oven dish
Instructions
- Whisk the whipping cream with 15 g of the sugar until it stands up in stiff peaks.
- Whisk in another bowl the egg yolks together with the rest of the sugar until it forms a creamy mixture.
- Mix the mascarpone little by little into the egg yolk mixture.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mixture.
- Put the espresso into a deep plate and stir in the coffee liqueur, if you use it.
- Dip half of the ladyfingers into the espresso mixture and put them with the coffee side on top into the oven dish.
- Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the process for the other half of the ladyfingers.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
I don’t like coffee liqueur so much, so I made my tiramisu only with espresso. This is also super tasty and handy when you want to make a child-friendly tiramisu.
This recipe contains raw eggs, so it is not suitable for pregnant women.
