Description

This low FODMAP tiramisu was requested a lot! A favourite dessert of many people. This version is gluten-free and lactose-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 125 ml lactose-free whipping cream
  • 75 g white sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 500 g lactose-free mascarpone
  • Optional: 5 tbsp coffee liqueur
  • 200 ml espresso
  • 150 g gluten-free ladyfingers
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • An oven dish

Instructions

  1. Whisk the whipping cream with 15 g of the sugar until it stands up in stiff peaks.
  2. Whisk in another bowl the egg yolks together with the rest of the sugar until it forms a creamy mixture.
  3. Mix the mascarpone little by little into the egg yolk mixture.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mixture.
  5. Put the espresso into a deep plate and stir in the coffee liqueur, if you use it.
  6. Dip half of the ladyfingers into the espresso mixture and put them with the coffee side on top into the oven dish.
  7. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat the process for the other half of the ladyfingers.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

I don’t like coffee liqueur so much, so I made my tiramisu only with espresso. This is also super tasty and handy when you want to make a child-friendly tiramisu.
This recipe contains raw eggs, so it is not suitable for pregnant women.
