Description

Make low FODMAP stracciatella ice cream! In this blog, I show you how to make low FODMAP and low lactose ice cream. Super simple with only 4 ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale

What do you need (for 1 box of ice cream)

  • 500 ml (2 cups) whipping cream
  • 1 can (14 oz) condensed milk
  • 3 tsp vanille extract
  • 15 drops Disolact lactase drops
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions

How to make the low FODMAP stracciatella ice cream

  1. Start the preparations 24 hours before you want to make this recipe. Put the whipping cream in a bowl and stir in 10 lactase drops. Put the condensed milk in another bowl and stir in 5 lactase drops. Stir very well to make sure the lactase drops are mixed in well. Cover the bowls and put them into the fridge for 24 hours.
  2. After 24 hours: whip up the whipping cream in a bowl until stiff. Add the condensed milk and the vanilla extract. Carefully fold this into the whipping cream.
  3. Chop up the dark chocolate and stir it into the mixture.
  4. Pour the ice cream into a box with a lid and put the closed box into the freezer for at least 6 hours.
  5. Take the ice cream out of the freezer 10 minutes before you want to serve it, so it can soften a bit.
