Description

Gluten-free tiramisu with strawberries! Make this sunny tiramisu yourself. A perfect dessert to share! Low FODMAP and low in lactose.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 ml lactose-free whipping cream + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 g lactose-free mascarpone
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 125 g icing sugar + 4 tbsp
  • 14 gluten-free lady fingers
  • The juice of one orange
  • 250 g strawberries, halved*

Instructions

  1. Whip the whipping cream stiff with 2 tbsp sugar.
  2. Stir the mascarpone together in bowl with 1 tsp vanilla extract and 125 gram icing sugar. Carefully fold in the whipping cream.
  3. Puree 200 gram of the strawberries with 2 tbsp icing sugar. Put the rest of the strawberries aside, you will use them for garnish.
  4. Dip half of the lady fingers in the orange juice and put them on the bottom of a dish.
  5. Divide half of the mascarpone mixture over it and spread the pureed strawberries on top.
  6. Dip the rest of the lady fingers in the orange juice and put them on the pureed strawberries.
  7. Spread the rest of the mascarpone mixture on top and garnish with the halved strawberries.
  8. Put the tiramisu in the fridge for 3-4 hours to set.
  9. Sprinkle with some more powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

*Strawberries have been retested and they are low FODMAP up to 65 gram per serving. 1/4 of this recipe is a safe low FODMAP serving.
