Description
No-bake cookie dough bars made of low FODMAP, gluten-free and lactose-free cookie dough. Not healthy, not sugar-free, but so good! A real guilty pleasure.
Instructions
- Grease an oven dish or baking tin or layer with baking paper.
- Press the cookie dough into the tin and even it out.
- Melt the chocolate au bain-marie or in the microwave. Pour the chocolate over the cookie dough. Spread it over the dough with the back of a spoon, so you get an even layer of chocolate.
- Put the cookie dough bars into the fridge for a few hours for the chocolate to set. If you are very impatient you can also put them into the freezer for a shorter time. But the bars are best when they are cold.
- The cookie dough bars are quite heavy, therefore I cut the bars that you see on the pictures in half another time. This recipe makes about 16 bars.
Notes
As I also noted in the recipe for cookie dough, too much fat and sugar (and chocolate, which is a combination of both) can also trigger IBS complaints. Therefore, I advise eating one cookie dough bar per serving maximum.
