Melon salad with parma ham and burrata
I couldn’t wait to share this recipe with you! I totally devoured this melon salad with burrata. Ohh my, I read about burrata on several blogs lately.
It sounded vaguely familiar to me (I think I must have eaten it in Italy), but I couldn’t remember what it tasted like. But now I do and I can tell you: it is GOOD!
Especially in this salad combined with parma ham and melon. Burrata is a combination of mozzarella and cream. It is very soft and creamy and has quite a strong, lightly salty flavour.
The structure is similar to mozzarella, but the taste is very different. It is a perfect addition to a salad.
Next to the salad itself I am also very excited about the pictures in this blog post! As you can see they are of quite a different quality than my earlier pictures.
That is because I have bought my first DSLR camera!! I am extremely happy with it and I can’t wait to start shooting beautiful food photos for my blog!
I will have to practice a lot, though, as I am a total newbie in the world of photography. But hopefully, you will see the photography on my blog improve little by little in the next months!
Now, let’s go back to that delicious melon salad. It is super simple to make and only has four main ingredients. Next to melon you need parma ham, cucumber and burrata and that combination makes a super fresh summer salad.
The salad is ready in 10 minutes and then you can enjoy Italy on a plate. It doesn’t get much better!!Print
