A Turkish feta spread with walnuts and pepper paste, or peynir ezmesi. Super yummy as a party snack or on a sandwich or cracker. Gluten-free
Ingredients

- 125 g (4.4 oz) Turkish white cheese (beyaz peynir)* or feta, crumbled
- 75 g (2.6 oz) walnuts
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Turkish pepper paste
- 1 tsp oregano
- A dash of olive oil
- A pinch of pepper
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in the food processor. Pulse until you have a fairly smooth mixture.
- Taste and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
- No food processor? Then chop the walnuts very finely and stir all the ingredients together in a bowl until everything is well mixed.
