Low FODMAP teriyaki salmon
I have a super tasty and simple recipe for you today. I made low FODMAP oven-baked teriyaki salmon! With just a handful of ingredients, you can make your own teriyaki sauce and put a delicious fish dish on the table.
How to make low FODMAP teriyaki salmon
Making your own teriyaki sauce is actually very simple. You need 5 ingredients:
- Soy sauce: for the FODMAP diet you can use regular soy sauce. Regular soy sauce is not gluten-free. Do you have to eat strictly gluten-free? Then choose a gluten-free soy sauce.
- Dark brown sugar
- Maple syrup
- Sesame oil
- Grated fresh ginger

In addition, you use a little water to thin the sauce. Furthermore, making this recipe is nothing more than stirring all the ingredients for the sauce together.
Coat the salmon in the teriyaki sauce and then bake it in the oven for 15-20 minutes. And believe me, it is really delicious!
How to serve low FODMAP teriyaki salmon
Salmon teriyaki is delicious to serve with some low FODMAP stir-fried vegetables and rice or noodles. Or serve it with fries and a nice salad.
In the summer with warm weather when I feel like a light meal I sometimes eat this salmon with a nice salad on the side. For example this homemade Greek salad.
