Classic low FODMAP Christmas menu’s
Starters
Serve a low FODMAP carpaccio as a starter. Almost everybody loves this classic starter!
Or go for fish and serve this super simple low FODMAP shrimp cocktail.
Another delicious idea is low FODMAP vol-au-vent (chicken ragout). Hmm, I love it!
Mains
Pork tenderloin is a popular Christmas dinner main dish here in the Netherlands. This stuffed pork tenderloin with pesto, mozzarella and parma ham is extra yummy and very easy to make. Great to serve with potatoes and haricot verts wrapped in bacon.
Or what do you think about rolled pork loin with mushroom cream sauce, another classic! Great with homemade pommes duchesse.
Another classic is gluten-free chicken cordon bleu. Delicious with homemade potato croquettes.
Rather have a vegetarian main dish? Give this stuffed spaghetti squash with spinach and goat cheese a try!
Risotto is also perfect for a Christmas dinner. For a vegetarian risotto this risotto with spinach pesto or lemon risotto are a great option.
Low FODMAP Christmas menu: desserts
And of course we end with dessert, my favourite part of Christmas dinner. What do you think about a classic crème brûlée?
Or these bite-sized chocolate chip cheesecakes? Perfect with some fruit on the side and great if you are not really hungry anymore.
Or go for one of the classic favourites: tiramisu! On my blog you can find 3 different versions: strawberry tiramisu, classic tiramisu or speculaas tiramisu! A dessert that almost everybody will love.
Or go for extra fancy with these lemon meringue tartlets!
