Italian burrata parma ham salad (with low FODMAP option)

Description

With the right ingredients you don’t need much for a great dish. That also counts for this Italian burrata parma ham salad, also low FODMAP.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Rocket lettuce or mixed lettuce
  • 1 burrata (or 1 buffalo mozzarella), 120 g*
  • 100 g parma ham
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 50 g black olives
  • A splash of olive oil
  • Balsamic crème (or normal balsamic vinegar)
  • Pepper and salt

Instructions

  1. Divide the rocket lettuce over two plates.
  2. Cut the burrata in two and put it in the middle of the plates.
  3. Cut the parma ham into pieces and the tomatoes into wedges.
  4. Divide the parma ham, tomato and the black olives over the salad.
  5. Sprinkle some olive oil and balsamic crème over the lettuce and flavour with pepper and salt.

Notes

*Burrata is not tested and probably contains quite a high amount of lactose. If you are intolerant to lactose, you can use mozzarella instead. This is a lot lower in lactose and low FODMAP.
